Motorsport Timing

Getting started

In Database mode, pick a Year, Race, and Session, then click Load to fetch historical timing data. In Live mode, click Connect to follow the current or most recent session as it updates automatically.

Views

Use the View selector above the table to switch between the lap time matrix, classification, plots, telemetry, and more. Views marked (Pro) or (Team) are greyed out on the Free plan — click the lock hint below the selector to see upgrade options.

Replay

Once a session is loaded, use the replay bar to play back the session at different speeds, or drag the range slider to jump to a specific point in time.

Motorsport Timing is an independent, fan-made timing and analysis tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Formula 1, the FIA, Liberty Media, or any team, driver, or circuit. Any team, driver, or event names are used solely to identify the sessions being displayed.

Timing data is sourced from OpenF1, a public, unofficial API, and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate compared to official timing sources.

Strategy and tyre model outputs (deterministic simulation, Monte Carlo predictions, and related estimates) are approximations intended for informational and entertainment purposes only. They should not be relied upon for betting, wagering, or any official decision-making.
